Symptoms of a Stroke:
If you have any of these symptoms, call 911.
Tell 911, "I think I'm having a stroke."
Sudden onset of:
- Weakness/numbness on one side of the body
- Confusion, loss of speech or trouble understanding others
- Blindness in one or both eyes
- Double Vision
- Dizziness, loss of balance or trouble walking
- Severe headache (comes on abruptly and is worse than any you’ve had before)
Stroke Prevention Tips:
If you have High Blood Pressure, make sure it is treated properly.
- Stop Smoking
- Limit Alcohol
- Watch your diet and manage your weight
- Get plenty of exercise
- Schedule annual check-ups with your doctor
